The DVD is the live performance that took place June 4, 2011 at the Scottish Rite Center in El Paso, Texas.

Featuring live music by Danyavaad, and theatrical dance performances by The Shimmy Sisters, their mother Judith Ann Marcus, Kareesha Willow & The Hippy Shakes, Jackie Azoyani, Leah Ramirez, Mindy Chanson, Bella Fusion Dance Company, and the girls of Rakkasett.

It was a month of travel and adventure.  It has been a time of conquest.  Danyavaad has taken it’s message of liberated vitality all the way from Ocean Beach, CA to the shores of the Atlantic.

I have learned several things on this tour:

To me, Wanderlust Yoga and Music Festival was a tangible way of recognizing and celebrating the unification of different communities. Alongside mirroring current trends, the concept behind the festival spoke to me personally through its graceful blending of multiple art forms. As an expanding artist, I have begun to make this connection within my own life and have thus woven into various communities, most of which were a part of this festival.
